Right in the center of Vigo and facing the sea, in the maritime area, the Varadero cocktail bar opened its doors 24 years ago, in September 1996. Although many believe that the name refers to the Cuban city of Varadero, the name is actually due to the location of the premises, very close to the sea and very close to where the boats are to be repaired or sheltered from the sea.
